The “Portofino” sofa has a sleeping place equipped with the Millennium transformation mechanism
This mechanism is intended for daily use. The design feature of the mechanism is that when unfolding the sofa, you will not have to worry about where to put the cushions from the sofa – with a light movement, they are removed under the mechanism when unfolding. The mechanism is installed on its own independent frame and has a rigid frame made of metal pipes. In places of bends, not rivets are used, but reliable bolted connections. Welded metal mesh is used as a basis. All this significantly increases the service life of the product even under conditions of intensive daily use. The transformation mechanism is easily unfolded and folded thanks to powerful springs. The well-established manufacturing process ensures trouble-free operation of the mechanism.
The transformation scheme is as follows:
Grab the back of the sofa with your hands and gently pull the structure up on you.
Take hold of the crossbar with both hands and again make an upward movement.
Continuing the movement, unfold the sofa.
The product is unfolded in the “bed” position.
The transformation to the “sofa” position is performed in the reverse order.
